Kevin Jennings, You're Fired!

It seems that the President's safe schools "czar" pushed more than the envelope in his career. Lately, some new information has surfaced about the kind of sexual activities that Kevin Jennings promoted to young kids--each report more disturbing than the last. Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa), along with 52 of his House colleagues, called for Jennings 's head back in October. This week, he's demanding answers.
In a new letter to the White House, Rep. King writes, "My colleagues and I, along with the American people, deserve to know why Mr. Jennings is still serving in your administration, despite his lack of appropriate qualifications or ethical standards... To date, we have received no response... Due to the inaction of your Administration, Representative Michael Burgess has introduced a resolution calling for Kevin Jennings to be fired from his post as 'Safe Schools Czar' immediately. I am disappointed that concerned Members of Congress have been forced to resort to legislative action as a result of your unwillingness to act on this important matter." Meanwhile, FRC has produced a special video on Jennings and we encourage you to click here and watch it. When you're finished, join Rep. King's call and contact your congressmen.

Christmas Poem For All Who Love Our Troops

The embers glowed softly, and in their dim light,
I gazed round the room and I cherished the sight.
My wife was asleep, her head on my chest,
My daughter beside me, angelic in rest.
Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white,
Transforming the yard to a winter delight.

The sparkling lights in the tree I believe,
Completed the magic that was Christmas Eve.
My eyelids were heavy, my breathing was deep,
Secure and surrounded by love I would sleep.
In perfect contentment, or so it would seem,
So I slumbered, perhaps I started to dream.

The sound wasn't loud, and it wasn't too near,
But I opened my eyes when it tickled my ear.
Perhaps just a cough, I didn't quite know,

Then the sure sound of footsteps outside in the snow.
My soul gave a tremble, I struggled to hear,
And I crept to the door just to see who was near.

Standing out in the cold and the dark of the night,
A lone figure stood, his face weary and tight.
A soldier, I puzzled, some twenty years old,
Perhaps a Marine, huddled here in the cold.
Alone in the dark, he looked up and smiled,
Standing watch over me, and my wife and my child.

"What are you doing?" I asked without fear,
"Come in this moment, it's freezing out here!
Put down your pack, brush the snow from your sleeve,
You should be at home on a cold Christmas Eve!"
For barely a moment I saw his eyes shift,
Away from the cold and the snow blown in drifts..

To the window that danced with a warm fire's light
Then he sighed and he said "Its really all right,
I'm out here by choice. I'm here every night."
"It's my duty to stand at the front of the line,
That separates you from the darkest of times.

No one had to ask or beg or implore me,
I'm proud to stand here like my fathers before me.
My Gramps died at ' Pearl on a day in December,"
Then he sighed, "That's a Christmas 'Gram always remembers."
My dad stood his watch in the jungles of ' Nam ',
And now it is my turn and so, here I am.

I've not seen my own son in more than a while,
But my wife sends me pictures, he's sure got her smile.
Then he bent and he carefully pulled from his bag,
The red, white, and blue... an American flag.
I can live through the cold and the being alone,
Away from my family, my house and my home.

I can stand at my post through the rain and the sleet,
I can sleep in a foxhole with little to eat.
I can carry the weight of killing another,
Or lay down my life with my sister and brother..
Who stand at the front against any and all,
To ensure for all time that this flag will not fall."

"  So go back inside," he said, "harbor no fright,
Your family is waiting and I'll be all right."
"But isn't there something I can do, at the least,
"Give you money," I asked, "or prepare you a feast?
It seems all too little for all that you've done,
For being away from your wife and your son."

Then his eye welled a tear that held no regret,
"Just tell us you love us, and never forget.
To fight for our rights back at home while we're gone,
To stand your own watch, no matter how long.
For when we come home, either standing or dead,
To know you remember we fought and we bled.
Is payment enough, and with that we will trust,
That we mattered to you as you mattered to us."

Sen. Reid and Rep. Pelosi: Ready For A Dirty Deal

Most polls place public opinion at about 60% AGAINST this health care travesty that is being bribed through congress. If these liberals pass this bill I predict the greatest landslide AGAINST them when it is time for them to be reelected. The American people are not fools and it is time for us to begin impeachment proceedings against the most radical ones. Tim Geithner and Kevin Jennings are two that must be removed from their offices and now. Geithner is the moving force behind the bringing terrorists into America for trial. He has a MAJOR conflict of interest going here as his law firm has represented a number of these terrorists in the past. This is nothing more than doing it at taxpayer expense. They need to go now! This is merely one more case of blatant corruption in the Democrat party. I cannot wait for November 2010 to see the fireworks.

Sen. Whitehouse: You Are Pathetic!

I just viewed a video of Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse's comments on the senate floor as he slandered everyone and anyone who disagrees with Obama or his liberal cronies. I think that this was the worst show of partisan egotism that I have ever witnessed and I will do whatever I can to see to it that he and others like him are placed on the unemployment list come 2010 or 2012. You can tell desperation when you see otherwise rational people acting irrationally. You, sir, are pathetic!

Coldest Temperature Ever Recorded ...

east of the Mississippi happened on what date?

The coldest temperature ever recorded east of the Mississippi River was -60°F in Tower, Minn., on Feb. 2, 1996.  USA Today

1996 was only 13 years ago, Mr. Gore, and the temperatures have not risen over the past 11 years. As a matter of fact, the past two winters have recorded temperatures that were the lowest in 100 years and this winter has already indicated extreme cold weather is in store. I guess it is time for you to start the Global Cooling scare and for the UN to start producing movies showing that the little children are all going to freeze to death if we do not pass cap and trade legislation.

Obama Pushing Ethnic Cleansing At Taxpayer Expense

This is exactly what abortion is according to the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger. She called blacks, Asians and other non-white people groups "human weeds" and suggested that they be sterilized so that they cannot "breed" freely. Let me give it to you in her own words here. You might also want to look up The N_gro Project to get it from the African-American perspective. (N_gro because site will not permit the word to be printed) Check out  The Repackaging of Margaret Sanger by Steven W. Mosher for more exact information on this topic.

"Above My Paygrade!"

What an understatement! After just under one year in office, we see Mr. Obama imploding worldwide. I wonder how much more grey hair he has in so short a time. This office can take its toll on the most competent man and yet we have one of the most incompetent men ever to sit in the Oval Office sitting there now. We saw his lack of experience and yet far too many chose to pull the lever by his name and now we see this inexperience coming out in spades. He came in with a huge agenda to move America into Socialism and he had the majority inn congress to do it, BUT the American people are still in charge of this nation and they have put the fear of God in most of our elected officials. This Christmas recess will put even more of this fear into their little pea picking hearts as we have grown exhausted with this anti-American agenda. I think that it is time for REAL hope and change come November of 2010 by sending almost all of the incumbants packing to the unemployment office. Mr. Obama would do well to seek out God at this time in his life. He claims to be a Christian but he has unfortunately had the wrong brand of Christianity for the past twenty years under one as radical as he is, Rev. Wright. Christianity is not about hate but LOVE, self-sacrificial love. The Bible word is agape and it means that the other person is more important than yourself. I do not see this love in him or any of the radicals in DC at this time. What I do see is selfishness and arrogance to the ultimate degree.

As a Christian, I admit openly that I pray for Obama, Reid, Pelosi and all the rest on Capital Hill and around the nation. Thank God that America is still a Christian nation and Christians of all people understand FREEDOM! You see, the Christmas season is not just about Santa and gifts but it is about the ultimate gift, that God gave His own Son to take away man's sins and to set FREE all who turn to Him in faith because of the death of His only Son on the cross. The cross is one of the most substantiated events in world history. Many people think that there is no evidence for this outside the Bible but there are volumes of evidences from secular historians of Jesus' time and just beyond the time.  It is all there for the seeking if one is just willing to look.

Well, happy looking as we enter this wonderful holiday. I met Jesus thirty-five years ago this month and I would not trade my relationship with Him for the whole world. He changed my life forever and He stands ready to do the same for you if you have not yet met Him.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

The REAL Night Before Christmas

(By Parents)

'Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house I searched for the tools to hand to my spouse

Instructions were studied and we were inspired, in hopes we could manage "Some Assembly Required."

The children were quiet (not asleep) in their beds, while Dad and I faced the evening with dread: a kitchen, two bikes, Barbie's townhouse to boot! And now, thanks to Grandpa, a train with a toot!

We opened the boxes, my heart skipped a beat - let no parts be missing or parts incomplete!

Too late for last-minute returns or replacement; if we can't get it right, it goes straight to the basement! When what to my worrying eyes should appear but 50 sheets of directions, concise, but not clear,

With each part numbered and every slot named, so if we failed, only we could be blamed. More rapid than eagles the parts then fell out, all over the carpet they were scattered about.

"Now bolt it! Now twist it! Attach it right there! Slide on the seats, and staple the stair! Hammer the shelves, and nail to the stand." "Honey," said hubby, "you just glued my hand."

And then in a twinkling, I knew for a fact that all the toy dealers had indeed made a pact to keep parents busy all Christmas Eve night with "assembly required" till morning's first light.

We spoke not a word, but kept bent at our work, till our eyes, they went blurry; our fingers all hurt. The coffee went cold and the night, it wore thin before we attached the last rod and last pin.

Then laying the tools away in the chest, we fell into bed for a well-deserved rest. But I said to my husband just before I passed out, "This will be the best Christmas, without any doubt.

Tomorrow we'll cheer, let the holiday ring, and not run to the store for one single thing! We did it! We did it! The toys are all set for the perfect, most magical, Christmas, I bet!"

Then off to dreamland and sweet repose I gratefully went, though I suppose there's something to say for those self-deluded- I'd forgotten that BATTERIES are never included!

Jesus and the Democrat

A Republican in a wheelchair entered a restaurant one afternoon and asked the waitress for a cup of coffee.

The Republican
looked across the restaurant and asked, "Is that Jesus sitting over there?"

The waitress nodded "yes," so the Republican requested that she give Jesus a cup of coffee, on him.

The next patron to come in was a Libertarian with a hunched back. He shuffled over to a booth, painfully sat down, and asked the waitress for a cup of hot tea. He also glanced across the restaurant and asked, "Is that Jesus over there?"

The waitress nodded, so the Libertarian asked her to give Jesus a cup of hot tea, "My treat."

The third patron to come into the restaurant was a Democrat on crutches.

He hobbled over to a booth, sat down and hollered, "Hey there, honey!

How's about getting' me a cold glass of Miller Light?"

He, too, looked across the restaurant and asked, "Is that God's boy over there?"

The waitress once more nodded, so the Democrat directed her to give Jesus a cold glass of beer.  "On my tab," he said.

As Jesus got up to leave, he passed by the Republican, touched him and said, "For your kindness, you are healed." The Republican felt the strength come back into his legs, got up, and danced a jig out the door.

Jesus also passed by the Libertarian, touched him and said, "For your kindness, you are healed."  The Libertarian felt his back straightening up, and he raised his hands, praised the Lord and did a series of back flips out the door.

Then Jesus walked towards the Democrat.  The Democrat jumped to his feet and yelled, "Don't touch me, I'm collecting disability!"

Correcting The Errors Of The Christmas Story

The birth of Jesus Christ/Yeshua HaMashiach has come to be very distorted, even by Christian pastors. We see the manger scene in nativity and see Joseph, Mary and the baby and then we see three wise men standing there with their gifts for the Messiah. The error is seen clearly if we look to the Book of books, the Bible. In Matthew chapter two and Luke chapter two we find the birth of Jesus/Yeshua and the wise men or Magi coming to worship Him.

The errors are as follows:

1. There was NO star over Bethlehem on the night Jesus/Yeshua was born. The star appeared to guide the wise men to the child.

2. The wise men were NOT at the manger scene but came as much as one to two years later.

3. The star comes into play to guide the wise men to the HOUSE where Jesus/Yeshua was living.

4. We know the approximate age of Jesus by the change of words used to describe the baby and child.

Brephos is an infant, Luke 2:12, 16, which spoke of His birth and then Matthew 2:9, 11 uses the word paidion to describe a child up to age seven. So what other clues do we have as to His accurate age when the wise men came to visit Him?

1. Jesus was living in a house when the wise men arrived.

2. When Herod went on his killing rampage he killed all male babies two years and younger. Why two years? This must have been the      approximate age of the child at the arrival of the Magi. He certainly was not an infant when they came. Then Joseph and Mary were warned to leave the land and go to Egypt for safety.

My goal here is merely to set the record straight so that we will not continue telling the story incorrectly.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
