Many in our modern world seem to assume that God has gone on an extended vacation and this allows them to act in any way that they please. Well, contrary to what many soft preachers today are saying, God will still have the last word at the Great White Judgment Seat. You see, God is extremely patient in allowing mankind to make his own choices but there is coming a pay day when man's life will end and then comes the accounting that he thought he was avoiding. Every person who thumbs their nose in the face of God's offer of forgiveness will stand before this judgment seat and since his or her name will not be found in the Book of Life, they will be cast into the Lake of Fire/Hell. Hell, now there's a word you rarely hear today, especially from America's pulpits. You see, the soft preachers don't want to offend people with the truth about the consequences of their choices. This is equal to a doctor, after an examination that determined that the patient has stage three cancer, telling the patient to take two Twinkies daily and everything will be ok. This is medical malpractice in the highest order. So it is with soft preachers today. They are committing spiritual malpractice by avoiding the consequences of sin. They fear that they won't have the big church and lose their popularity.

Do you remember a man named John the Baptist (Baptizer or Immerser more accurately)? He said of Jesus when the people left John and followed Jesus, "He must increase, I must decrease." John 3:30

Preachers need to remember that the sheep do not belong to them but to Jesus, the Good Shepherd. Far too many preachers are fleecing the sheep today rather than leading and feeding the sheep of their Master. You see, the church of Jesus Christ desperately needs a revival that will restore the Bible as our plan book, not what some guru teaches at a conference. May God have mercy on us all.

I wonder if Obama had been in the White House on 9-11 if he would have said the same. I just watched a representative with CAIR on Chris Matthews who refused to accept that the MURDERER'S religion had anything to do with this. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? When a murderer chants that god is great right before he guns down and wounds American soldiers, common sense says that he did this in the name of Allah.

During his speech to a Joint Session of Congress in September the President reiterated many of his other promises that lie broken in the wake of the House bill. He vowed if you like your current plan you will not have to change it. In truth, the House plan cuts Medicare Advantage almost in half and gives incentives for employers to drop their employees from current plans. The President also gave his word that his plan would not raise the deficit "by one dime." However the independent Congressional Budget Service points out that the current House health care bill would raise the deficit by $239 billion over the next nine years.

His most egregious claim was "under our plan, no federal dollars will be used to fund abortions." The current House health care bill can be summed up in three words: "Planned Parenthood Bailout." There are currently close to 900 abortion facilities in the United States today, many of them owned or affiliated with Planned Parenthood. The economic downturn has been affecting the abortion industry as well, and many abortuaries across the nation are being forced to close. This has been highlighted over the last couple of days by Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood official who has exposed Planned Parenthood's drift towards increasing the number of abortions they do in order to increase their profit. Under the current House health care bill Planned Parenthood will need to order bank trucks to haul in the government funds they will reap as taxpayer funds are routed to pay for abortions. As the unemployment figure reached 10.2 percent today, is a bailout of the abortion industry the message President Obama really wants to send? After weeks of parading around Maine as the faces of compassion and normalcy, the masks of same-sex "marriage" have finally come off. So have the gloves. After Tuesday's defeat, homosexual activists are shocked, they're angry, and now they're determined to make voters pay.

In a new campaign, the people of Maine Marriage Equality have decided to unleash some California-style harassment on the churches that publicly sided with traditional marriage -- Question 1. Ever the sore losers, the Left is calling on supporters to file IRS complaints against any house of worship that supported marriage as God intended it. Intimidation is what they do best, and Maine Equality is hoping to show off those talents by stripping Maine churches of their tax-exempt status. Unfortunately for them, it's completely within a church's legal rights to preach on social issues, particularly as they pertain to Scripture.

Christ is ?The Reason' for the Christ-mas Season!

As Christmas draws near again, many retailers are again shunning the use of the word Christmas from their advertisements. I have already put some on notice that if they shun using Christmas that I will shop for CHRISTMAS presents at those locations who celebrate it freely. Wal-Mart is already leaving it out so I will leave them out this year, UNLESS they get with the program before it is too late.

That's right! Billy Gates did not finish college and yet is the one of the richest people in the world. The liberals are trying to make a big deal about certain conservative talk show hosts not having a college degree yet Walter Cronkite, Robert Novak and William Safire lack this same credential. (A cursory view of Hollywood stars is very revealing in this area as well.) Is it possible to be a highly trained and successful person without a college education? Have you ever heard of educated idiots? It is possible to hold a doctorate and still be ignorant because the best education of all is the school of hard knocks.

I am not disparaging a college or graduate degree. I have personally been formally educated myself and I greatly value this, but it is NOT essential for success. Success comes from knowing God and doing His will for your life. Just look at the so-called GREAT men and women of history, those who changed the world for good and you will see a very high percentage of these who were successful for this very reason.
