God and country was on the lips of most Americans. This was the America that became great: 'Christ first, our country next.' America was and is a Christian nation. It is being threatened by atheists and outright God haters today. It is time for good men and women to step up to the plate and say, "NO MORE!"

California with the activist court overturning Prop. 22, the governor of Colorado signing legislation to open public restrooms to male and female, teaching sexual perversion in our public schools, trying to outlaw home schooling, congress dealing with the creation of Frankenstein science by allowing scientists to create a man/animal creature, the attempt in congress to forbid the teaching of abstinence in public schools, funding the teaching of Islam in our schools, spinning the mantra that Islam is a peaceful religion and it goes on and on and on. What will it take for God fearing people to stop this insanity? When will Americans turn off the liberal media and do some research into our Godly heritage? Are we so lazy minded that we will sit with our remote control and just soak up a truck load of lies and distortions? I wonder if the frog in the kettle is just about cooked. The water is getting hotter and hotter, yet we just sit and let this trash clog our minds to the point that we become mentally dead. The dumbing down of America is almost complete. Are there any heroes like Joan of Arc, Wilbur Wilberforce, King Richard the Lion Hearted, Brave Heart, George Washington, Patrick Henry left in America?  And this list could go on and on? I personally know many who fit this description and they are standing daily to face and challenge those who would turn our great nation into a Socialist nation. The folks at Family Research Council are standing up for truth, but they are feeling the absence of support from those who should be standing with them. Who will stand up in the face of evil and yell, "Charge!" to the army of God? I am not saying that we need to pursue violence but the possibility of another Civil War is a grave possibility in the near future. The two sides are becoming more and more divided. Let us pray that God Almighty will intervene and bring sanity and unity once again.

This is not to say that these generations are totally devoid of these values, since millions of young people are deeply committed to God and live their lives to honor Him. The number of God worshippers has decreased as a direct result of the secularization of our society.

Tragically, many of today's Christian churches have also fallen prey to this secularization. By avoiding the teaching of the whole council of God, the whole Bible, they have contributed to the dumbing down of their congregations. America desperately needs a revival in the Christian churches of this land. Pastors and teachers must return to teaching more than just the 'feel good' passages of Scripture. They must deal with judgment, repentance, moral living, accountability, immorality, hell as well as heaven and other such topics. To go to the doctor with intense pain and to have the doctor tell you to take two aspirin and just ignore the pain would be a case of malpractice. So it is with many of today's feel good preachers and teachers. They are avoiding the real gut level issues in the lives of the people who come to hear what God has to say to them. The focus is on how to have more friends, a better marriage, and better sex to the exclusion of dealing with issues that destroy their very lives. Adultery, homosexuality, abortion, divorce, lying, obesity (shocker), drugs, alcohol, smoking are all things that are physically and emotionally destroying millions of lives, yet these are avoided since it might 'offend' the audience. OFFEND ME! Tell me the CONSEQUENCES of doing these things. Adultery, homosexuality, child molestation and pornography are often the very things that bring down the very pastor who stands before the people to preach. If he is doing these things, do you think that he will ever condemn them from the pulpit? I love pastors, since I was one for thirty-one years. It cuts my heart out every time I hear of another wheels-off wreck in a ministry. This brings disgrace on the whole body of Christ, the church.

These are all strong signs that the people in the church should insist on the whole Bible being used in our times of teaching and preaching. I speak to people, young and old, who are hungering for this kind of teaching in their churches. They want to know the whole truth, not cotton candy!  The future of this very nation depends on the church and its leaders setting the pace for the congregations, who in turn will set the pace in society. If the people do not know what is right and wrong, how are they to be change agents in the society?

This change MUST take place immediately since the pushers of Socialism and atheism are running full steam ahead. With California's Supreme Court ruling on same sex marriage and many other cities and states that are trying to follow suit, the debate in congress of creating a Frankenstein man/animal combination, the constant murder of the most innocent of our citizens and the insanity goes on and on. Every day, new and unbelievable things are being shoved down the throats of God-fearing and moral people. Don't you see the tidal wave of evil that is sweeping over this land? When will we step out of political correctness chains and express our gut feelings on this. This is an urgent matter and if something is not done soon we will see the very foundations of America removed and replaced with godless philosophies and the expansion of the culture of death.
