When will we learn our lesson concerning repeat sex offenders? Why are we so timid about chemical sterilization? Do we even consider the violence committed against innocent victims? I heard again this week of a man who broke into a home and raped the woman at home. Can we even begin to imagine having this kind of crime happen to us? The closest that I have ever experienced is having thieves break into my home and rummage through dresser drawers etc. If we take that feeling and multiply it an infinite number higher then we begin to approach what it must be like to be sexually attacked. Chemical sterilization is painless yet it does "fix" the problem. Isn't it time to put some teeth in crimes of a sexual nature? So, which of our elected officials will have the guts to deal with this issue?
