The Jews Get First Dibs

It is sad when someone has an awesome gift for you and you refuse to accept it. This is the case with many Jews today, when it comes to their Messiah, Yeshua/Jesus. It is clear throughout the Bible that the Jews were and are God's chosen people. This distinction is still theirs today. They play a key roll throughout the last book of the Bible, Revelation. God has brought them back to their own land, which He promised would be theirs. He says that they will rebuild the temple in the last days. They stand ready to do just this right now. The tragedy of this is that going back to temple sacrifices will never bring peace to their hearts

"For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins."  Hebrews 10:4

"Now every cohen stands every day doing his service, offering over and over the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But this One, after He had offered , for all time, a single sacrifice for sins, sat down at the right hand of God, from then on to wait until His enemies be made a footstool for His feet. For by a single offering He has brought to the goal, for all time, those who are being set apart for God and made holy. And the Ruach HaKodesh/Holy Spirit too bears witness to us: for after saying, 'This is the covenant which I will make with them after those days,' says Adonai/the LORD: 'I will put My torah/law on their hearts, and write it on their minds,' He then adds, 'And their sins and their wickednesses I will remember no more.' Now where there is forgiveness for these, an offering for sins is no longer needed. So, brothers, we have confidence to use the way into the Holiest Place opened by the blood of Yeshua/Jesus." Hebrews 10:11-19  Jewish New Testament by David H. Stern

They, and all mankind, will never know peace until we know the Prince of Peace Yeshua HaMashiach. He was and is a Jew, born of a Jewish mother and of the tribe of Judah. His first priority was the salvation of all of His people, the Jews. Note the following verses.

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek."  Romans 1:16

"... that the Messiah/Christ was to suffer, and that by reason of His resurrection from the dead He would be the first to proclaim light both to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles."  Acts 26:23

"He came to His own homeland, yet His own people did not receive Him. But as many as did receive Him, to those who put their trust in His person and power, He gave the right to become children of God, not because of bloodline, physical impulse or human intention, but because of God." John 1:11
Quoted from the Jewish New Testament by David H. Stern

Your Messiah has already come to you and you missed Him. Millions of Jews have found Him and made Him their Lord and Savior. They are called Messianic Jews and I have the honor of having one of their finest, and a Rabbi at that, as my best friend. I have never seen such joy and celebration as I have seen in Messianic believers. Their music is unsurpassed in any other music.

Most Jews have been taught from the cradle that Yeshua Ha Mashiach was just a good man or a nobody, but not the Messiah of Israel. This is the same thing the religious leaders told the people in Yeshua's time on earth, yet within twenty-five years after His death and resurrection, there were as many as 100,000 Jews in Jerusalem who did put their trust in Him. I pray that if you are Jewish or gentile, that you too will investigate Yeshua/Jesus and find Him as I did, everything He said that He is.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16
