It is interesting that so much of the advertising industry is using a picture of a person sitting in the Lotus position, with thumbs connecting with the middle fingers, in their ads. It seems to be the new "buzz' thinking today.
There is a danger to practicing this stuff. It is right out of paganism. Let me illustrate. The teaching is from Hinduism and they encourage 'anyone' to participate in chanting the Gayatri Mantra. They tell us to chant, "Ahm, ahm, ahm, ahm" etc. ect. ad infinitum. If one does a bit of research into Hinduism, we find that this is a ritual of their religion and NOT a relaxation technique. Their religion teaches that by chanting ahm, over and over, we are calling up the Dragon Spirit from the base of our spine. Now, how does the Dragon figure into this. Who is it in the Bible that is the Dragon? It is Satan himself! Do you want to put in a call to Satan to come into your house and into your body? I don't think that any sane person would invite such an evil creature to spend time with them. Be warned, this is another form of indoctrination into paganism. Forewarned is forearmed.
