The most self-disciplined people on earth are virgins, men and women. They have learned to say no to the wolves who stalk their sexual purity. I have some advice for these virgins that I have given to many audiences in the past. Here it goes. "When people pressure you to have sex, just say to them, 'I could become like you in five minutes but you can never become like me.' “Simple and to the point. Sexual purity is scorned by those who have lost their self-control and given in to pre-marital sex. The string of lives that have been ruined by this compromise is very long. I have seen AIDS wards in Uganda, Africa, where everyone in the ward, both men and women, look like a bunch of skeletons, and with the immune system destroyed, each of them had TB as well. This is the most pitiful sight that I can remember seeing. Not just AIDS but many other STD's as well. I read just yesterday that one out of four teen girls have an STD. Dating is no longer just a fun night at the movies and a soda afterwards. If they are sexually active, they are playing the game of Russian roulette. 1 in 4 is a staggering number. We can lay it all at the feet of the 60's sexual revolution and Mr. Kinsey's blatant lies in his sex survey. You can refer to one of my earlier blogs to get the whole dirty story of his so-called research. He should have been put to death for the horrific abuse on babies and young children. Many of these victims died from over stimulation.
So, if you are still a virgin, congratulations! If you are not, there is still hope for you as well. Stop selling your body in search for love. There is another saying that I have used many times. When a boy or girl pressures you to have sex, and they use the old, worn out line on you, "If you love me you will let me," just know that there is not love for you in those words, there is manipulation. They will use you and press on when they no longer get the old 'buzz' from you that they once had. Save yourself for the right guy or girl. They are still out there; you just have to be patient to find one. I did and I am so glad that I did. It keeps a lot of arguments out of your marriage over who you had sex with and what you did with them. Jealousy is a horrid, green-eyed monster that you don't have to deal with if you remain a virgin until marriage, and marry a virgin as well.
