It seems that we hear those words over and over and over and over. We hear everything from, "Bush Lied," "the military lied," "the CIA and FBI lied," to bloggers throwing this barb at anyone who disagrees with them. It is hard to defend this charge when the person throwing it is unwilling to look at the hard evidence, because they don't want to know the facts. This would be too irrational to them. When you have no logical argument or hard facts, "You're a liar," seems to be their only defense.
A friend sent me a video, put together by the RNC, that showed Hillary, Barack, Polosi, Reed and others, who were speaking about Saddam's WMD's during the Clinton era. Each of them boldly stated that our evidence shows that he has WMD's and some called for his removal from power. Yet the liberal media, and especially Code Pink females, continues to throw this barb when it is a total lie itself.
I cannot for the life of me understand why so many are calling others liars. The only thing I can figure is that they are too lazy to look at the hard facts. It is much easier to sit and watch the talking heads spout distortions, bias and Anti-American rhetoric. Take a count of how many times the word comes up tonight as you watch TV. It is fast becoming a standard for dealing with those in the other camp.
So, brace yourselves. It can only get worse. I wonder how long it took, after General Petraus gave his report to congress, for the liberals to sling this 'liar' barb once again. It might be a better strategy for America to just deport all the liberals and let them start their own country in South America or some other place. Maybe Iceland or Greenland would be good, and then they would wish for global warming just to keep warm.
