Miley Cyrus' Apology Is Not Ringing True

Miley Cyrus/ Hannah Montana is trying desperately to save face and her fan base after her Vanity Fare photo shoot. She has apologized with the explanation that she really did not know what she was doing during the shoot. Her father and mother must have had a lot of clues before, during and after the shoot. She says that when she saw the pictures in the magazine, she realized that it was a bad thing. Tell me Miley that the photographer and magazine staff did not show you the pictures and allow you to pick the ones you liked best. This is clearly a case of "It is easier to get forgiveness than permission." She went ahead and did this and then hoped to cover herself with a 'heartfelt' apology.

Today, Vanity Fare tells its side of the story. "Miley's parents and / or minders were on the set all day," the magazine stated. "Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley." "I think it's really artsy," she told the magazine staff when the picture was shot. "It wasn't in a shanky way. Anne took, like a beautiful shot, and I thought that it was really cool. That's what she wanted me to do, and you can't say no to Anne."

My number one question is, "Why did she even consider doing the shoot in the first place?" It is not like she needs the cash, is it? The word is that she makes a Million Dollars A Day when she is in concert and her Disney show is not paying chump change. Did she and her parents even stop to think about all the little kids and teens that are her adoring fans? Posing semi-nude is not something that would be a good thing for fans of this age group. I feel that she will sadly go the way of the Olsen twins, Lindsey Lohan and hundreds of other Hollywood 'end of the use them and dump them mill.'

Fame and wealth are too much for the human mind to absorb without causing a major disruption in brain function which results in arrogance and a god complex. Just look at the disasters that Hollywood has produced. All the suicides, multiple marriages, drug and alcohol basket cases (Betty Ford dry out clinic workers could tell a lot of stories), sexual disasters, rags to riches to rags and on and on. Do you see the big shots in Hollywood helping these basket cases when they crash? NO! They just bring in another silly kid who can only see stardom, cash, material possessions and fame in their eyes. The mill has been around for many years. To see just a small glimpse into this all we have to do is read Judy Garland's biography. Now, multiply this thousands of times and you will begin to get the picture. People are just objects to use and discard and then find another ego driven victim to use again. The casting couch is still alive and well in this 'industry.'

It doesn't end with the victims. The victims are now worldwide. People's lives all over the world have been affected negatively by the sleaze mill. Has the moral fiber of America and the world gotten better or worse because of the media? We all know the answer to this one. Have you ever read the movie standards that were established in the 1930's? It reads like a Bible lesson in morality. This standard was discarded in the 60's during the sexual revolution.

Is there any chance that Hollywood will return to putting out decent movies again? It is possible if moral Americans will vote with their feet and stop paying to see the trash that is produced in the name of entertainment. Filthy language now fills the majority of what they produce with every form of sexual perversion. How long will moral people subject themselves to things that go against everything they say is most important to them?
