"The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your countrymen, you shall listen to him." Deuteronomy 18:15
The Muslims choose this verse, from the Bible, to try and prove that Mohammad was the fulfillment of this prophesy. All one has to do is to look at the verse itself to see that it cannot be a non-Jew who fulfills it. "From your countrymen..." clearly says that it will be a Jew and most scholars say that this prophesy was fulfilled by Jesus, Yeshua in Hebrew. He, like Moses, led people to freedom by the sacrifice He made on the cross by taking the penalty of man's sins on Himself. He waits now for you to choose to accept His free gift of forgiveness and eternal life with Him, if you haven't already.
