We regret to report that statements by homosexuals indicate that the Democratic Party's 2008 platform is apparently unprecedented in its support for homosexuality and the gender-confused. According to U.S. Representative Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), the only openly lesbian member of Congress and a member of the 15-member platform drafting committee, the platform will set the tone for expanding the rights of all GLBT people in the next several years. The expansion of these "rights" means an intensification of the conflict with our constitutionally guaranteed religious freedoms. The Democratic platform calls for the enforcement of homosexual demands in the workplace through the passage of legislation (ENDA), the passage of Hate Crimes/Speech laws, enforcement of open homosexuality upon the military, the repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act and full legalization of homosexual "marriage." Homosexuals are increasing their participation in the Democratic Convention by 27% over 2004. There simply is no greater threat to our religious freedom within America than the homosexual agenda. We sincerely hope the Democratic Party will return to defending life, marriage, family and religious rights. This platform, however, indicates a decisive turn away from these cherished American values.

Folks, we cannot stop this trajectory by just talking about it. We must stick together. Snowflakes are very fragile things, but if enough of them stick together they can stop traffic.
