In a recent survey conducted by the American Family Association, the following question was asked of church goers across America.
Would your pastor change the tone of sermons if 'sexual orientation' is added to federal hate crime law in the U.S.?
13.51% said that their pastors would most likely avoid the issue.
14.74% said that their pastors already ignored the issue .
This adds up to 28.25% of American pastors who are wimps in their pulpits. To these pastors, if you can call them that, I ask the question: Are you going to preach the Bible or are you going to just tickle the ears of your congregations? Most attenders want more than you are willing to give them. I suggest that you read Ezekiel chapters 33-34 for a better understanding of what GOD wants you to do.
Congratulations to the 71.74% who said that their pastors would never change their message. True pastors each and every one. Telling people the truth is not a sin. Doctors do it every day of the week and few patients drop out of their care.
