According to the latest Harris poll, those Americans who call themselves Christian have shrunk about ten percent over the past ten years. It is interesting as to why this shrinkage has occurred. According to AFA, "The ranks of those unaffiliated with any religion, meanwhile, are growing not so much because of a lack of religious belief but because of disenchantment with religious leaders and institutions."
What this tells me is that most folks have grown weary of a steady diet of milk toast sermons. The majority of people I speak with tell me that they wish that their pastors would simply preach the whole Bible and get off the 'feel good' sermonizing. The pastors who dance around serious issues like abortion, sexual perversion and other blatant sins that are destroying America, and they are boring their congregations to death and no wonder that the folks are going elsewhere. The following prophesy explains what happens when God's preachers refuse to do their jobs.
"Behold, days are coming," declares the Lord GOD, "When I will send a famine on the land, not a famine for bread and for water, but rather for hearing the words of the LORD. People will stagger from sea to sea and from north even to the east; they will go to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, but they will not find it." Amos 8:11-12
In a recent poll done by American Family Association (AFA), they found that nearly 30% of church attenders felt that their pastors would never touch these issues.
The reason that America is in such dire circumstances today is laid at the feet of these milk-toast preachers who are not equipping their congregations to stand against those who would lead America into godlessness and blatant immorality.
Why did we allow the Ten Commandments to be removed from public places? IGNORANCE of the truth is the reason. When I hear major pastors like Rick Warren say that he believes in the separation of church and state I know that many other preachers are in the same boat. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE, yet the ACLU has used this ignorance of the truth to push horrific things through congress and the media has been their willing instrument to dumb down a whole nation. This is why public education must be a "God free" zone so that children cannot hear the truth. Evolution is one of their godless instruments to spread atheism to an innocent population. Evolution is a blatant lie that is taught as absolute truth on a daily basis.
Folks, it is time for the TRUTH to prevail once again. This MUST come from Christian preachers who are willing to suffer the barbs of extremists who are presently in charge of this great nation. They must be corrected publicly! Make the choice today to stand up for what is true and right or we will soon suffer the loss of our freedoms.
Call your congress person today and let them know that you oppose this HATE CRIMES legislation passionately. This bill is UNCONSTITUTIONAL and will remove the freedom of speech from the majority of Americans. It will curtail the teaching of the Bible on issues of homosexuality and immorality. There are still a lot of preachers who will not compromise the truth no matter what comes, but their numbers are few and far between.
