Islam's Moon God In The Bible

Islamists/Muslims openly deny that their god is the moon god of antiquity but the following passage from the book of Judges makes it clear the crescent emblem is very ancient.

"Then Zebah and Zalmunna said, 'Rise up yourself, and fall on us; for as the man, so is his strength.' So Gideon arose and killed Zebah and Zalmunna, and took the crescent ornaments which were on their camels' necks. Then the men of Israel said to Gideon, 'Rule over us, both you and your son, also your son's son, for you have delivered us from the hand of Midian.' But Gideon said to them, 'I will not rule over you, nor shall my son rule over you; the Lord shall rule over you.' Yet Gideon said to them, 'I would request of you, that each of you give me an earring from his spoil.' (For they had gold earrings, because they were Ishmaelites.) They said, 'We will surely give them.' So they spread out a garment, and every one of them threw an earring there from his spoil. The weight of the gold earrings that he requested was 1, 700 shekels of gold, besides the crescent ornaments and the pendants and the

Now, the crescent moon is still the symbol of Islam and they were and are certainly descendants of Ishmael, not Isaac. When Mohammad became known to the world, he decided, because of the influence of his Christian wife and from his uncle also, that he would make his religion a monotheist or a one god religion like Judaism and Christianity. He forced the people to accept just one of the many gods that the people worshiped at the time to be the one god.

No one in Islam in the Middle East would suggest that Allah and YHWH are one and the same. This comes from a PR campaign on the American media. There has never been a crescent symbol in Christianity or Judaism, but this, as we can see from this text, was and still is the symbol of Islam. The book of Judges was written before Israel had its first king and so it predates the rule of Saul and David of Israel. Islam came on the scene in the 7th Century A.D.

Here we see the crescent moon as a symbol of the moon god of antiquity in Ishmael's clan. Archaeology of the Middle East has produced multiple examples of temples, idols and the worship of the moon god from Turkey to Egypt. There is no doubt that the Ishmaelites worshiped this god and when Mohammed came on the scene, he simply removed all other gods and made this god the one true god of Islam that they would worship. The people did not go along with Mohammed on this until he forced them to accept it by pain of death. Many have referred to Islam's method of gaining converts as "evangelism by the sword." This method is still prominent to this day as we have seen personally.

For more information on this moon god, you can get a copy of Dr. Robert Morey's book "The Moon-god Allah In The Archaeology Of The Middle East." There is NO doubt that the God of the Bible and the god of Islam are very different. Don't be fooled by the clever propaganda that is spread in America and Europe. The God of the Bible is the one true God who warns us in the first of the Ten Commandments to avoid accepting any other so-called god but Him. "You shall have NO other gods besides Me."  Exodus 20:3
False gods beget false, man-made religions who worship rocks, trees and gold idols. It is quite simple to see who God really is. Does your god answer your prayers, is your god made by human hands or is your God transcendent of all human manufacture? Idols can never answer our prayers as they were made by mankind. The God of the Bible has clearly existed long before the creation of mankind. This God seeks to redeem His creation back to Himself by giving Himself, Jesus/Yeshua, on the cross to pay the penalty for man's sins. No sinner can save another sinner so this is why Jesus/Yeshua had to be without sin Himself as He clearly was. He did all of this for you and me. Take the time to look into this for yourself and you will see a God who suffers for people rather than make people suffer for him.
He paid the penalty for man's sins so that today, May 5, 2009, you might be forgiven for your past sins and adopted into God's forever family.
