This is what is happening right here in America. We need to demand the enforcement of the First Amendment. Remember that it says, "Congress shall make NO laws restricting the free exercise of religion..." NO means NO! The hate crimes legislation is UNCONSTITUTIONAL as it restricts the free exercise of religion. It does NOT say that Christians must keep silent about their beliefs in public. It does NOT say that we lose our freedom of speech just because an illegal law is passed.
Now is the time for all good men (and women) to come to the aid of their country. Do you remember typing this a thousand times in typing class in high school? Well, it is very appropriate to today and the blatant attack on our freedoms.
All we must do is look at what happened in Philadelphia recently. Eleven people were arrested because they dared to tell homosexuals that their lifestyle was a sin. Check it out for yourself. They were charged with three felonies and five misdemeanors because they carried signs and were peacefully expressing their views. One lady is a seventy (70) year old African-American and she, along with ten others, was charged with 'racism.' She said that she could not understand how homosexuality was a race? How ironic to charge a black woman with racism! This is happening more and more and if the hate crimes legislation is passed we will see an immediate increase in arrests for speaking out against homosexuality. Is this America or little Moscow or Beijing? We had better wake up and smell the coffee and that NOW!
