It is amazingly unbelievable to watch this congress operate. It matters not what the majority of citizens want, they are determined to push their agenda no matter what we think. This hate crimes bill is the last straw and just might break the liberal camel's back. There is NO need of additional legislation to protect homosexuals and other sexual deviants. It astounds me that even normally conservative Republicans voted for this bill because it was attached to the military appropriations bill. Why not vote NO on it and then take the time to revise the bill as needed for passage? I am shocked to see Sen. John Cornyn of Texas, my senator, vote yes on this thing. This was the straw for me that broke it for me and I am about ready to vote ALL of congress out of a job in 2010 and 2012. I wonder if our REPUBLIC can survive long enough to get us to the polls again. This is growing more and more insane as the days pass. How do we stop this runaway train?
