It is a fact that people drink beer, not one or two typically, but a six pack etc. Now, lawmakers want to increase the alcohol level in the brew as they bow to public pressure. Beer currently has 4.65% alcohol and the new level could be as high as 13.9%.
Aren't there enough people in grave yards from drunk drivers and many others disabled and helpless from this self-inflicted disease?
Even MADD commented that they HOPE that people will drink fewer beers as this measure in put into effect. Are you kidding me? The word self-control is not in the average drinker's vocabulary.
I predict that the number of drunken driver related wrecks and the deaths and people maimed by them will rise dramatically. Is there no common sense in America any more?
