Pastors, don't get caught up in the trendy ideas that are flying about today, dig deep into the Word of God and spend long times with God in prayer and you will find power that you have never imagined. The distractions today are myriad and you must discipline yourself to stay focused on God and the Word. I have a passionate love for pastors since I was one for over thirty years. The answer to the problems America faces today will never be solved by politics or talking heads. It will be solved by pastors who are willing to speak the truth in love.
May God bless each pastor who is currently doing just this. You are the true heroes of this great nation and have been since its founding. If we just study the effects of the first and second great awakenings in America we will see that the Church has been and is still the most powerful force in this nation for good. This is why so many God haters are out to shut the mouths of pastors and to remove the influence of the Christian church. The hate crimes legislation that was just railroaded into law is a huge step in this fight against the church.
