I just heard what Mr. Obama said just before he announced the slaughter of our troops at Fort Hood. To ramble on about their meeting for two minutes and giving shouts for members of his team before announcing that our soldiers were murdered by a Muslim terrorist is deplorable. I wonder if he has any true sentiment for any of our military. I am a veteran myself and find his passivity disgusting. I hasten to say that I do pray for him and hope that he will truly seek God so that his life might reflect what he professes to be.
He will deliver a speech at Fort Hood today at the memorial service. I wonder what he will say that will reverse his earlier comments of "Let's not rush to judgment." It is slowly coming out about what the military knew about this man before this happened. He is obviously a terrorist and is being treated with gentleness. His attorney today said that his mental condition will be a factor in his trial, in other words he will plead temporary insanity.
Our founding fathers would spin in their graves if they could see how we have turned our legal system into a series of loopholes for criminals.
