"He who steals, must steal no longer; but rather he must labor, performing with his own hands what is good, so that he will have something to share with one who has need." Ephesians 4:28
PS: The one in need is NOT the one who WILL NOT work, but the one who CANNOT work.
What does the Bible say about those who WILL NOT work?
"For even when we were with you, we used to give you this ORDER; if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either. For we hear that some among you are leading an UNDISCIPLINED life, doing NO work at all, but acting like busybodies." 2 Thessalonians 3:10-11
Well, there you have it. Many in the church today have turned into preachers of socialism, saying that all are to be equally treated regardless of whether or not they are willing to work for a living. It is not biblical! God expects able bodied people to work for a living and not wait for hard working people to feed, clothe, educate and house them.
