I wonder if any of them asked him when he is sending the 40,000 troops to help them survive and win. The past few months have been the bloodiest in all the time in Afghanistan in American lives. How can he just sit by and let them be murdered and then just make a few phone calls as a token of his affection? This is hypocritical to the core. I hope he grows a spine sometime soon. As a veteran myself, having the complete support of your Commander is critical. Lyndon Johnson played these same foolish games with the troops in Vietnam during the time I served my country. There were actually times when our troops were fired on and they had to contact Washington DC to get permission to return fire. There were demilitarized zones where the Vietcong could come out and attack our troops and then retreat to the safety of these zones where our troops could not go in and get them or EVEN FLY OVER THEM much less bomb them.
Liberals, for the most part, have never even put on the uniform of a soldier and therefore have no clue how to fight battles and yet they want to micromanage the war from the White House or congress. LET THE GENERALS fight the war as we did with General Schwarzkopf. Our troops, each one of them, are our most precious resource and MUST be protected IMMEDIATELY!
