Have you noticed that psychiatrists have come up with excuses for everyone who does gross things? Tiger Woods, the up to now Mr. Clean of the sports world, has suddenly been found out and his wife rightly went after him with a golf club. He has been immoral and committed adultery countless times with everything from show girls to prostitutes and now we hear that he has an addictive personality and is addicted to sex. Give me a break! He is just a man with too much money and has too much availability to immoral women who will sleep with him or anyone else who comes along. Can you imagine his wife's anger at finding out that he has had sex with every sleazy woman around and yet came home to her bed and has spread who knows what disease to her? She should have him castrated and help him get over his "sex addiction." This seems to work on Tom cats and horses, so why not on a Tiger?
We have tried to sanitize adultery and fornication by giving it a tame name like "an affair." An affair used to be a party with friends but now it is the sanitized version of having sex with someone not your spouse. I am sure that Tiger took vows when he married that he would be sexually exclusive to his wife so I guess that this simply adds LIAR to his list of sins.
Hollywood leads the nation, as we see on the front cover of magazines, in adultery, in immorality. Television now cannot get through a half hour program without someone jumping into bed with someone that they are not married to and calling it entertainment. What kind of SICK society is it that enjoys watching OTHER people have sex? Isn't this a psychiatric condition in itself? The side effects of sexual immorality are devastating. I have traveled in Uganda a couple of times and I have seen first hand the wives and children affected by an adulterous husband as they are dying of AIDS. The devastating effect on the children of adulterers is equally evil. When a child sees the parent that they respected exposed as a common adulterer the child is left with tremendous confusion. What do I do with the example left by mom or dad? Do I follow their example or learn to hate them for a lousy role model? Why can't men and women keep their underwear on these days? We should again start calling them by the names used in years gone by: wh_re, prostitute, whoremonger etc.? This might curb a bit of this problem just by the stigma it brings. Wouldn't it be nice to actually see couples who take vows and actually keep them for the rest of their lives? Maybe being more discreet about what we watch would make the difference. Watching Anne of Green Gables over Desperate Housewives would be a good way of cleaning up our minds and restoring morality once again. Mind pollution is rampant in America and around the world today. And we call ourselves enlightened! Did you know that it is illegal to be homosexual in Uganda and that abortion is also illegal there. And we call them a backwards nation. Seems that we have our labels on backwards these days.
It is interesting that when I went to post this blog that it would not go through since I used the word wh_re, it seems that this is inappropriate language in our politically correct age. I guess I had better let the King James Bible publishers know that this is no longer a good way to describe an immoral woman.
