Do they not understand that senior citizens VOTE in this country? The sheer audacity and arrogance of the liberals to propose that senior citizens should be on the chopping block but not TORT reform shows their true colors. This is Socialism pure and simple! Old people and handicapped folks are non-contributors to a Socialist state and thus expendable. This is why the bill includes mandatory end of life counseling, i.e. let us send in Dr. Death to end your life so that you won't be a drain on "the government."
They forget that they will be old, and many of them are already old, but this does not seem to register in their small minds. There is a story I heard a number of years ago about an oriental family whose grandfather had become too old and sick to work so the father was going to take him in the wheelbarrow to the place that old people are dumped off to die. The father's young son asked if he might go with his father to take his grandfather to the place of death. The father asked his son why he wanted to go. The boy replied, "I need to know where the place is so I will know where to take you when you get old."
We need to remember that our senior citizens are the folks that built America into the powerhouse that she has become and we owe them a great debt of appreciation and a responsibility to take care of them until death. They have earned this place of honor.
Why won't the liberals set loose a team of investigators to get to the bottom of Medicare scam artists? Here is one reason that this program is about to go bankrupt but they don't seem to care about this since many of their cronies are up to their ears in corruption and they want to protect them.
We need a thousand Sarah Palins turned lose in our government to root out corruption and throw the criminals into jail. Can we imagine how much money is wasted each year by corruption? Al Gore is worth over 100 million dollars as a result of the global warming scam and he needs to be prosecuted for lying to the American public and bilking them of millions.
Mr. Obama and crew, shoe seniors the dignity they have earned. Drop this cut from this evil bill. I am proud to be a senior myself. I am in great company! There is one thing about old people, they may have trouble remembering some things but they are tenacious about remembering people who rip them off and we will remember when it comes time to vote again.
Vote for this bill and we will vote you out of office, and that's a promise!
