What an understatement! After just under one year in office, we see Mr. Obama imploding worldwide. I wonder how much more grey hair he has in so short a time. This office can take its toll on the most competent man and yet we have one of the most incompetent men ever to sit in the Oval Office sitting there now. We saw his lack of experience and yet far too many chose to pull the lever by his name and now we see this inexperience coming out in spades. He came in with a huge agenda to move America into Socialism and he had the majority inn congress to do it, BUT the American people are still in charge of this nation and they have put the fear of God in most of our elected officials. This Christmas recess will put even more of this fear into their little pea picking hearts as we have grown exhausted with this anti-American agenda. I think that it is time for REAL hope and change come November of 2010 by sending almost all of the incumbants packing to the unemployment office. Mr. Obama would do well to seek out God at this time in his life. He claims to be a Christian but he has unfortunately had the wrong brand of Christianity for the past twenty years under one as radical as he is, Rev. Wright. Christianity is not about hate but LOVE, self-sacrificial love. The Bible word is agape and it means that the other person is more important than yourself. I do not see this love in him or any of the radicals in DC at this time. What I do see is selfishness and arrogance to the ultimate degree.
As a Christian, I admit openly that I pray for Obama, Reid, Pelosi and all the rest on Capital Hill and around the nation. Thank God that America is still a Christian nation and Christians of all people understand FREEDOM! You see, the Christmas season is not just about Santa and gifts but it is about the ultimate gift, that God gave His own Son to take away man's sins and to set FREE all who turn to Him in faith because of the death of His only Son on the cross. The cross is one of the most substantiated events in world history. Many people think that there is no evidence for this outside the Bible but there are volumes of evidences from secular historians of Jesus' time and just beyond the time. It is all there for the seeking if one is just willing to look.
Well, happy looking as we enter this wonderful holiday. I met Jesus thirty-five years ago this month and I would not trade my relationship with Him for the whole world. He changed my life forever and He stands ready to do the same for you if you have not yet met Him.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
