It is amazing to hear preachers today dance around critical issues. The Bible refers to such preachers as 'ear ticklers', in other words, just telling people what they want to hear rather than telling them what they NEED to hear. There are still many preachers who are as bold as lions in speaking the truth. Unfortunately, there are also those who choose to condemn and beat over the head with truth so that it turns them away from the truth. There has to be a middle ground where preachers stop preaching the so-called 'feel good' sermons and begin to preach and teach the whole Bible once again.

Today, whole denominations have caved in to political correctness rather than biblical correctness. The Bible is truly a book filled with the love of God and describes the God of love clearly. But like loving parents, there are times when He has to speak of correction and ultimately punishment for deliberate disobedience. When parents refuse to spank a child who is deliberately being a brat they ultimately destroy their own child. They grow up thinking they can do what they please and our prisons are filled with such children today.
The most critical issues in society today are being largely ignored in churches today. They refuse to speak on homosexuality, abortion, adultery, judgment, accountability for our sinful behaviors and many other such issues. The word Hell has been removed from preachers' vocabulary because it might OFFEND SOMEONE! This is much like a doctor refusing to tell his or her patient that they have a deadly disease that will kill them if not dealt with soon. This is malpractice inn the medical field and I call it spiritual malpractice in the spiritual field. Abortion is the act of murdering an unborn baby and homosexuality is the most self-destructive behavior that can be done. The lifespan of homosexuals is drastically less than a heterosexual person who lives a moral lifestyle. All too often, when we speak of homosexuality as a sin, we fail to include heterosexual sin, such as shaking up with someone you are not married to or the one night stand situation. Sexual sin takes many forms, including masturbation. In order to do this you have to have a mental image of someone in a sexual situation, whether video, internet or mental picture. The Bible says if you have sex with someone in your mind it is the same thing as having sex with them physically since it is a mental thing anyway. Folks who are heterosexual and get married and remain sexually loyal to them, have NO STDs! Folks who have homosexual leanings need to get help from counselors who will tell them the truth as to how to get out of this situation. Folks like Exodus International, Focus on the Family and other competent organizations have led thousands of people out of the homosexual lifestyle to freedom and happiness.

My goal in writing this article is to express my love for all people, no matter what sin they are addicted to presently. Jesus/Yeshua came to earth to free mankind from their sins because He, as the creator, knew the devastating effects of sexual sin, such as AIDS and other STDs that today kill multiplied thousands of people each year. I saw an AIDS ward in Uganda, Africa and it stuck with me for months afterward. They were like the folks in Nazi death camps and each one had TB on top of this since their immune systems were shot. I truly love all human beings and care deeply that they live happy and healthy lives.

It is amazing to see how even Bible translators have caved into PC today. Zondervan has published a gender neutral Bible, which is an abomination to accurate biblical translation. They did this simply to appease the feminist movement and made God an IT, essentially. This is shameful and adds up to nothing more than a desire to make money by perverting the Word of God.
Preachers today need to remember what was said of Jesus/Yeshua.

"... for He was teaching them as one having authority, and not as their scribes."  Matthew 7:29

Jesus/Yeshua amazed people because He did not mince words with them. He knew nothing of what is today called Seeker Sensitive messages, for He spoke the gentle messages and the ones that knocked them off their feet with bold truth. Preachers today need this same loving boldness. The Bible tells us "to speak the truth in love."  Ephesians 4:15  This is always the best policy in any part of life.

My goal is to always speak the truth in love and this is what I have done in this article. The written page is hard way to communicate love since you cannot know the person writing it. I hope that the tone of my heart has come through and I want you to know the loving God that I met just before Christmas in 1974. He stands ready to forgive you of all your past sins and to adopt you into His forever family. He loves all people and desires that they all come to Him.
