It never ceases to amaze me to see the lengths that atheists will go to try and demonize Christianity. The latest attack came from Freedom From Religion against American Family Association's day of prayer in Houston, Texas. They contend that this "promotes a RABID evangelical Christian agenda." AMAZING!!! How and when does a group of people gathering together for prayer represent anything rabid. Dogs and other animals become rabid when they get rabies, but PRAYER??? This shows just how irrational atheists have become in their hatred toward ANYTHING Christian. The ACLU is on the same search and destroy mission to destroy all images of Christianity from public display. Every Christmas they come out of the woodwork to protest the use of CHRISTMAS anywhere. Just because they have nothing to celebrate at that time of the year they take on the mantra of the GRINCH and try to ruin it for those who love the holiday and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
It is time to stand up to these attacks and make right the ultimate goal. DOES FREEDOM FROM RELIGION HAVE THE RIGHT TO SAY WHATEVER THEY WANT? YES, AND SO DO CHRISTIANS. THIS IS NOT A GOVERNMENT EVENT BUT A PRIVATE ONE WITH THE STADIUM BEING RENTED OUT WITH PRIVATE FUNDS. Does Gov. Perry have the right to attend a PRIVATE gathering or does he lose his First Amendment rights by being an elected official? He has every right in the world to attend and there is NOTHING in the Constitution that SEPARATES CHURCH AND STATE. THIS IS A HUGE LIE AND THE ATHEISTS KNOW IT! IT DOES NOT APPEAR ANYWHERE IN OFFICIAL FOUNDING DOCUMENTS. JUST THE OPPOSITE IS TRUE. CHECK OUT THE HISTORY OF CONGRESS IN THE EARLY DAYS AND YOU WILL FIND THEM PRINTING AND MAKING AVAILABLE TO PUBLIC SCHOOL CHILDREN THE BIBLE. CHURCH WAS HELD WEEKLY IN THE ROTUNDA. Our history is rich with Christianity and just because a FEW atheists don't like it they try to remove it from memory but THEY WILL NEVER SUCCEED. Maybe this is why they are so angry and full of hate, I don't know.
I will continue to LOVE atheists and PRAY for them that they might see the light and maybe even attend the prayer rally. After all the purpose of the rally has such evil intent, right? No, it is to pray for RAIN and to pray for AMERICA TO RETURN TO GOD AND RESTORE OUR RESPECT FOR HIM AS OUR FOUNDING FATHERS INTENDED. DENYING THE TRUTH DOES NOT MAKE IT GO AWAY.
