Far too many Christian pastors today are failing to preach the whole Bible to their congregations. They are deliberately choosing to ignore certain passages of the Bible so that they would not OFFEND their attenders. Here are just a few verses of what is being ignored by them.

"He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."  Revelation 21:7-8

And as to who will be allowed to enter the New Jerusalem and who will not ...

"... and nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life."  Revelation 21:27

The greatest tragedy of all time will be when all of mankind stands before God at the judgment and to see those who have ignored Him and His warnings will be separated from those who obeyed. All who have never accepted God's invitation to become His children will be cast out of His presence and cast into the lake of fire/Hell forever.

Most pastors today are only speaking about the Happy verses of the Bible and ignoring verses like the ones above to the peril of those who listen to them. Many pastors today are condoning homosexuality, adultery, lying, greed and a myriad of other deadly sins. Those things that God calls an abomination are being avoided as they might offend someone. I believe that unless I am offended by my sins, I will never recognize the deadly quality of them and will have no reason to turn away from them. Until a doctor tells his patient that he or she needs to loose weight, stop drinking or smoking or having sex with anyone they choose outside the bonds of marriage, then they do not see the need to change their lifestyle. Many things endanger our physical health today and just the same there are many things that are deadly to our spiritual health. Man has been given the chance to turn away from these things and become a member of God's family through faith in Jesus Christ. This is how you get your name in the Book of Life. To avoid this issue is to play Russian Roulette with your eternal soul.

No explanation needed. You are either doing what He commands or you aren't. Don't be fooled into believing that heaven awaits you when you die if your lifestyle does not look like His. This is why He requires repentance. Repentance is turning away from sin by turning our back on it and then walking toward Him for the rest of our lives. He makes it all possible by living inside our life and empowering us to do what pleases Him. This is the only place where real peace and joy are found.

I just heard a clip of Mr. Obama's National Day of Prayer speech where he asked for both parties "to just get along" and to get off his case, especially "questions about my citizenship." He sounds like Rodney King.

Mr. Obama can solve this problem with one phone call to release his birth records and his educational records. He cannot expect to get  a pass then Mr. McCain had to give out this information during the election, can he? Does he think that he is above the laws of the land? Just show us the evidence and we will forget this issue forever, but alas I doubt that he will ever divulge the information unless a high court demands him to do so. I call him Mr. Obama because to me he is not legitimate until he proves he is in office legally. I wonder if I will ever be able to call him Mr. President?

I was just thinking about how Mr. Obama has been so adamant about CEO's salaries and especially their bonuses, yet we hear nothing about the bonuses that people in Hollyweird get such as Conan O'Brian's thirty-two million FOR QUITTING the Tonight Show. I wonder if he has somehow missed this huge bonus or is he just discriminating against the corporate CEO's and their bonuses. Well, I guess that is just the one sided liberalism for you again.

"But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these. Doesn't this describe Mr. Obama and his liberal/Socialist cronies to a tee? It seems that the Bible is right on when it comes to describing the conditions that will occur before His return to earth. When will He return? No one knows but He gave us these signs to let us know that it is getting nearer every day.

Why is Hollywood so obsessed with sexual perversion? Rare is the movie that does not exploit, especially, the female actress and have her either half dressed, soon undressed and having sex with total strangers. What is it about Hollywood that is so sexually twisted? Is it decent behavior for decent people to jump into bed with someone they are not married to? Ask Tiger Woods, Bill Clinton, John Edwards etc. to get the answer. Sexual freedom is promised to all who are willing to compromise their marriage vows or to the single who is willing to sleep with anyone who is warm and willing. In reality, sexual freedom is nothing more than slavery.

Try to imagine the person who decides to SHACK UP with someone. How secure are they in this relationship? It could end just by your SIGNIFICANT OTHER not coming home from work one night leaving you with the kids and no father or mother for them. STD's are another form of slavery. If you end up with an STD your life is changed for the rest of your days on earth. Many STD's will kill you. Ask an AIDS patient if they are SATISFIED with their sexual freedom experiment. Ask the faithful spouse who gets an STD from their immoral spouse if sexual freedom is a victimless situation. I have seen the effects of AIDS in Africa first hand. I visited a hospital in Uganda and witnessed two whole wards of AIDS patients. They were lying on the floor on mats looking like Holocaust victims from the death camps of Nazi Germany. They ALL had TB because their immune systems were shot and they would soon be dead from this horrific disease.

The greatest slavery is that immoral persons will not go to heaven when they die, and we will ALL die one day soon. The Bible is very clear that those who are sexually immoral will NOT enter the kingdom of heaven. Sexual immorality is not the only sin that will keep us from heaven but I am dealing specifically with it here. Having Bible words read at your funeral does not change your eternal destination. Note the following verses to see this clearly confirmed.

"But we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully, realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous person, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers and immoral men and homosexuals and kidnappers and liars and perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted."  1 Timothy 1:8-11

"But immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints; and there must be no filthiness and silly talk, or coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them; for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth), trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God."  1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Most preachers today do not have the guts to tell people the truth about this subject. They stay away from anything that might OFFEND them. Hell is very offensive to those who end up there and I would rather offend someone with the truth than to lull them into Hell with truth avoidance. These preachers need to grow a spine and speak the truth in love. Political Correctness has become the holy grail for many soft preachers today, rather than the Bible. Many mainline denominations have caved in to the PC pressure and have condoned anything and everything in the name of tolerance. Let me tell you a fact: God will not use the same method of judgment as these preachers on judgment day. He will have the last word and He will stick to His word in making these judgments. Hell is real and so is heaven. ONLY those who live their lives to please Him will go to heaven. Rebellion against His word will land all who pursue it in Hell.
It is not too late for you today, you are still alive. Now is the time to get serious with this issue. He assured all mankind of forgiveness when His Son, Jesus Christ/Yeshua HaMashiach, died on the cross almost two thousand years ago to free all people from sin. What we must do is to repent. This means do a 180 degree turn and walk away from our sins and walk toward Him. We reject sin and accept His forgiveness and choose to live our lives to please Him, not ourselves. The Lord spoke to Noah and said, "In six months I am going to make it rain until the whole world is covered with water and all the evil things are destroyed. But, I want to save a few good people and two of every living thing on the planet. I am ordering you to build an ark." And, in a flash of lightning, he delivered the specifications for the ark.

"OK," Noah said, trembling with fear and fumbling with the blueprints, "I'm your man."

Six months passed, the sky began to cloud up, and the rain began to fall in torrents. The Lord looked down and saw Noah sitting in his yard, weeping, and there was no ark.

"Noah!" shouted the Lord, "Where is My ark?" A lightning bolt crashed into the ground right beside Noah.

"Lord, please forgive me!" begged Noah. "I did my best, but there were some big problems. First, I had to get a building permit for the ark's construction, but Your plans did not meet their code. So, I had to hire an engineer to redo the plans, only to get into a long argument with him about whether to include a sprinkler system. My neighbors objected, claiming that I was violating zoning ordinances by building the ark in my front yard, so I had to get a variance from the city planning board. Then, I had a big problem getting enough wood for the ark, because there was a ban on cutting trees to save the spotted owl. I tried to convince the environmentalists and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service that I needed the wood to save the owls, but they wouldn't let me catch them, so no owls. Next, I started gathering up the animals but got sued by an animal rights group that objected to me taking along only two of each kind. Just when the suit got dismissed, the EPA notified me that I couldn't complete the ark without filling out an environmental impact statement on Your proposed flood. They didn't take kindly to the idea that they had no jurisdiction over the Supreme Being. Then, the Corps of Engineers wanted a map of the proposed flood plan. I sent them a globe! Right now, I'm still trying to resolve a complaint with the Equal Opportunities Commission over how many minorities I'm supposed to hire. The IRS has seized all my assets claiming that I am trying to leave the country, and I just got a notice from the state that I owe some kind of use tax. Really, I don't think I can finish the ark in less than five years."

With that, the sky cleared, the sun began to shine, and a rainbow arched across the sky. Noah looked up and smiled. "You mean you are not going to destroy the world?" he asked hopefully.

Having a relationship with God, like relationship with others, must be maintained daily. Neglect will strain the relationship and cause obstructions to closeness. God desires to have a moment to moment friendship with His people and if there is no desire on our part to have such a relationship it indicates that we may not even know Him. There is no more important relationship in life and can be had for the asking. Read the Gospel of John and the book of Romans for greater insights into this.

Along with a number of Obama's Czars and cabinet members. This is the most inept bunch of people that I have ever seen in my 62 years of life. They are literally making a mockery of our legal, justice and political processes. Keep up the heat on Reid and others to be removed from office. If it was good enough for Trent Lott then it is good enough for Reid.
