I just wanted to make you aware of an issue that I am dealing with in my new city in Texas. Our library as well as libraries all over America, have a serious issue that must be dealt with. It deals with a policy that was set in place back when libraries were fully decent places to visit, before the introduction of trashy movies and books. Are you aware that underaged students can check out PG, PG 13, and R rated movies on an ordinary library card? If a child goes to the video store they are carded and will not be allowed to check out things that are above their age level. I feel that most libraries are not fully aware that this is happening but that is very much a wish more than it may be reality. There are many today who want to sexualize young children and this is a subtle way to get it started. Once sexual images are in their young minds it switches on their sexual interest button and it will remain on, as Dr. James Dobson points out.
Our local library, in a small city in Texas, has about 75% R rated movies on its shelves. These are ordered by the choice of the person who orders movies. It is probably the same in your library.  Take a look at the percentage in your library and it will surprise you.
Will you take the time to check your local library’s check out policies on this and see to it that it is changed. Two young girls worked to have this changed in our city in California a few years ago. The students are issues cards that allow them to check out materials appropriate to their age. Let’s protect out kids from trashy movies. Will you help? Thanks.

After reviewing acknowledgments of God from all 50 state constitutions, one
is faced with the prospect that maybe, just maybe, the ACLU and the
out-of-control federal courts are wrong!

I do not understand how mankind can make an idol out of a rock, wood, gold or any other material, and then bow down to it and expect it to answer their prayers. Such is the case in Psalm 115:4-8

"Their idols are silver and gold, the work of man's hands. They have mouths, but they cannot speak; they have eyes, but they cannot see; they have ears, but they cannot hear; they have noses, but they cannot smell; they have hands, but they cannot feel; they have feet but they cannot walk; they cannot make a sound with their throat. Those who make them will become like them, everyone who trusts in them."

Just think of the world's religions who worship rocks, trees, gold and silver idols. Some frail man MADE these things long ago, in most cases, but like empty headed people, they turn their prayers, hopes, dreams and cries for help to a dumb idol. They cannot help anyone. The God of the Bible is a living God. He is not limited in His power to do anything that we need. When we pray, He answers. When we hurt, He comforts. When we cry out to Him for forgiveness, He forgives us all our sins by the death of His own Son, Jesus Christ. I don't know how anyone can face horrific trials without Him as our closest friend. He is available twenty-four hours a day and to all six and a half billion of us. Turn from dead idols to the living God in faith.

Patrick Henry, who is called the firebrand of the American Revolution, is still remembered for his words, 'Give me liberty, or give me death.'; but in current textbooks, the context of these words is omitted. Here is what he actually said: 'An appeal to arms and the God of hosts is all that is left to us. But we shall not fight our battle alone. There is a just God that presides over the destinies of nations. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone. Is life so dear or peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it Almighty God. I know what course others may take, but as for me, give me liberty, or give me death.' “These sentences have been erased from our textbooks.

Was Patrick Henry a Christian? The following year, 1776, he wrote this: "It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For that reason alone, people of other faiths have been afforded freedom of worship here."  This information is from Wallbuilders and David Barton

Just think for a moment: What if Islamists had founded this nation. Would we have freedom to worship as we please? Note the Middle Eastern nations and see that you will either be a Muslim or die. Saudi Arabia has one religion, Islam. NO other religions are allowed.

God, nor His Bible, condones the murder of the unborn, the perversion of homosexuality, sexual immorality, lying, bribery, hatred or domination of innocent people, yet this is what these and other liberal candidates boldly support. They have the unmitigated gall to call themselves Christians when their whole lifestyle says the very opposite. Obama's church, which is a hot bed of hatred, was for twenty years, preaching the things he listened to and accepted. It took the media to cause him to abandon his 'beloved pastor.'

Homosexual activists make no hesitation in spewing hatred and threats toward Christians and anyone else who dares to call their behavior sin. Here is a quote from activist Kevin Jenkins, leader of the teachers' faction of GLSEN. "We have to quit being afraid of the religious right ... (expletive) ____ 'em, which is what I want to say, because I don't care what they think! Drop dead!" If conservatives dared to say this to homosexuals, WWIII would be declared on us.

We have all seen the signs of gay teachers which advertised, "I am gay and I teach your kids and there is nothing that you can do about it!" Does it bug you, like it does me, to have someone cut off all negotiations and put it in our faces as though they will do to our kids what they please? And they are getting away with it daily. California is leading the way in stripping parents of their rights to opt their kids out of homosexual brainwashing, starting in preschool.

In the indoctrination film, It's Elementary, an administrator is asked abut the indoctrination of students who are raised in Christian homes. She replies, "We are asking kids to believe this (homosexuality) is right. We are educating them." This is being force fed to innocent kids every day in public schools.

A third grader is quoted as saying, "If you are open-minded, then you would like to try it." Third graders interested in having oral sex with a same sex student? When will parents finally stand up and protect their own kids? We are going to have a wave of sexually transmitted diseases in elementary schools, only expanded in Jr. High and High School. The problem is that these homosexual teachers are at the same time sexually abusing their students. They will spread their diseases to the students and the epidemic will spread.
