VALLEJO, CA. – Mayor Osby Davis received rebukes from homosexual activists after stating that “gays are committing a sin and that sin will keep them out of Heaven.” Davis followed with an apology to those who may have been offended.  

Homosexuality is a sin and will keep them out of heaven, so is adultery, murder etc.

"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will NOT inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such WERE some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God."  1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Please note that they WERE sinners before Jesus saved them. This says that they cannot continue in sin and go to heaven.

Obedience to the will of God is an expected thing.

"For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please."  Galatians 5:17

Please note that I used God's word and not my own to prove my point. God stands ready to forgive any sinner and to adopt him or her into His forever family but those who thumb their noses at His offer of mercy will face His wrath at the judgment.

These words were said by one of the most courageous pastors in American history. He preached his sermon this day while wearing his military uniform under his robe. He led the men of his church into battle against the British as a Colonel in the American army. The words quoted were a part of his sermon that day. I hope that we can still restore our REPUBLIC to sanity without bloodshed this time but I am also sure that the American patriots, both men and women, will not just surrender to Socialism without a fight. May God grant us the guts to fight politically before it comes to armed conflict.

In fact, Dr. Patrick Fagan of the Marriage and Religion Research Institute here at the FRC has just produced a comprehensive overview of the latest research in which he clearly demonstrates how pornography generates numerous negative outcomes for individuals and families. Here are some of the report's critical findings about pornography:

• About 25 percent of those who go on the Internet do so for sexual purposes.
• Up to 90 percent of youth aged 15 to 17 reported accidentally coming across pornography online. About one quarter of these youth said this happens "somewhat or very often."
• The more often adolescents are exposed to sexually explicit material on the Internet, the more sexually uncertain they are.
• Adults who steadily consume pornography are three times as likely to be unfaithful to their spouses.
• In one study, 56 percent of divorce cases involved an obsessive interest in pornographic websites, and 33 percent involved excessive time in chat rooms (a commonly sexualized forum).
• Repeated exposure to pornography prompted respondents to consider engaging in "recreational sex" as important, and to be very accepting of sexual permissiveness.
• The use of Internet pornography makes participants almost four times more likely to engage in paid sex.
• A recent study of college freshmen found that habituation to pornography led to tolerance of sexually explicit material, requiring more novel or bizarre material to achieve the same level of arousal or interest.
• Internet sexual offenders report that more than 11 hours of their week is spent viewing pornographic images of children on the Internet.
• Pornography consumption is closely related to sexual aggression.

Isn't it interesting to see the liberals standing against John McCain's amendment to Obama/Reid/Pelosicare on the issue of Medicare? They voted today to oppose this amendment and let the OLD FOLKS just do without this government health service. And they voted themselves a raise just to say that they did something for OLD FOLKS, themselves! They have also figured out a way to NOT give us a cost of living incerease this year or the next on top of this.

WOW, I WONDER IF THIS IS WHAT WE WILL SEE IF THIS MONSTROSITY PASSES CONGRESS. No doubt about it! So, this is a preview of coming attractions are if we keep silent on this sick health care bill. Just think, they are compassionate to old people and will send someone to us when we are really sick who says, HI, I'M FROM THE GOVERNMENT AND I HAVE COME TO GIVE YOU END OF LIFE COUNSELING. JUST DO IT! YOU DON'T REALLY WANT TO LIVE ANY LONGER DO YOU AND BECOME A BURDEN TO THE SYSTEM?

So, are all you senior citizens, of which I am one, just going to keep supporting Chancellor Obama and his Czars or are you finally going to make your voices heard in DC? How about all of you who voted for him last November, are you feeling just a wee bit guilty for doing yourself in under his dictatorship? It is still not too late to wake up and smell the coffee. This bill MUST be defeated.

Let your congress persons know that if they vote for this bill that you will vote for their opponent come election day and then DO IT! Let's see the Greatest Generation and the rest of America's seniors show some moral guts and restore our government to a Republic once again.

I just got off the phone with a manager in my local Costco and we were discussing their policy on using the word Christmas in their advertising and in their stores. He told me that he would get back to me when I called earlier and so he did. He sounded hopeful the first time I spoke with him but when he called back the top dog had obviously gotten to him. He told me that their policy was to avoid using the word Christmas since it might offend someone.  (Typical Political Correctness mantra)

Wait a minute here! If this is Christmas and you are selling Christmas gifts to give to those who celebrate Christmas, then what is the reasoning behind this decision? It is purely Political Correctness gone mad. It makes NO SENSE to offend your whole client base who are celebrating Christmas in hopes of not offending one who celebrates Hanukah or one of the oddball holidays.

I told him that I choose to buy my Christmas gifts from a store that sells Christmas gifts because this is Christmas that I am celebrating and I will buy my gifts from the stores that have the moral courage to do the right thing, and I will do just that.

So, if you are a retailer who boldly goes against the PC mantra then advertise boldly this year and you will find many customers who feel strongly about this.

PS: Old Navy/Gap has chosen to get with the season and openly wish their customers a MERRY CHRISTMAS where earlier this season they were making fun of the idea. You know it only gets their attention when it hits their BOTTOM LINE since it is all about profit and loss.

By the way, I was just in Wal-Mart and the store was silent and it was not even night, if you get my drift. There was no Christmas music playing. Whether they were just observing a moment of silence for the Obama jobs summit or not I cannot tell you. It did after all deserve one.

So, retailers choose you this day whom you will try to attract this Christmas season. Your bottom line will look better if you choose to celebrate Christmas this year.
